New Mexico State law (NMSS 24-5-2 1977) requires all students enrolled in Artesia Public Schools to be fully immunized, even if the student is primarily home schooled or a virtual student.

These immunizations can be given by your primary care provider, Walmart, Lowell's, Brown Drug, or the Department of Health. Artesia Department of Health will be hosting a walk in vaccination clinic at 1001 Memorial Drive, Artesia, NM from 8:00 am-4:00 pm on July 29th and August 5th.

If your child is not up to date on the required immunizations, his or her schedule will be withheld until immunizations are complete or an approved NM DOH Exemption is provided. If your child has had an approved NM DOH Exemption in the past, the approved exemption for this school year also must be provided or your child's schedule will be withheld.
